Davis Granite together with its subsidiary Premier Stonecrushers are the largest producers of granite aggregates in Zimbabwe. Davis Granite was started in Zimbabwe in 1948 and now has operational quarries in Bulawayo , Harare , Marondera, with our subsidiaries, Premier Stonecrushers in Gweru and in Hwange. In addition we have a mobile crushing plant which can be installed for large orders away from our main quarries.

We supply stone to all parts of Zimbabwe for construction work and are the major supplier of road stone to Government departments as well as supplying ballast to the National Railways of Zimbabwe. In addition our stone is exported to Mozambique , Botswana and Zambia . Our comprehensive product range covers all sizes of road stone, builders aggregate and sand.

We pride ourselves in producing consistently high quality granite aggregate to internationally accepted standards at economical prices. We also have good stocks of stone and adequate reserve production capacity to be able to supply large orders of aggregates and to keep to delivery deadlines.

Bulawayo

Davis Granite’s Head Office is on site at the large quarry in Bulawayo which is situated on the Khami Road only six kilometers from the centre of the City and well within the Municipal Boundary.This is an ideal situation for both the Head Office and the Quarry as our communications are made easy with the telephone, Fax and E-mail supported by a twice a day messenger service to the Post Office, Banks and City centre. In addition, this quarry has a railway siding which enables us to deliver stone around Zimbabwe and the SADC Region

Harare

The other large quarry is some 20 Kilometers out of the centre of Harare , off Delport Road near the main International Airport . This quarry is also well situated to serve the Harare central area, Chitungwiza, and of course perfectly placed to supply any future development in and around the airport.

Marondera

The Davis Granite quarry just outside Marondera can conveniently supply stone into Marondera and also towards Mutare. In addition there is a siding (Theydon Siding) at the quarry which enables us to supply stone to the National Railways of Zimbabwe and to load rail wagons for delivery of stone to customers both in Mozambique as far as Beira, and for local orders within Zimbabwe.

Gweru

Our quarry at Gweru (in the name of our subsidiary – Premier Stonecrushers) is some 20 kilometers East of the city centre on the main Mvuma Road and is also well placed to serve the Midlands area.

Hwange

The Premier Stonecrushers Quarry in Hwange is well placed for the supply of stone to Hwange and the Victoria Falls, and has recently been re-opened for supply
